Hello. I want to ask those familiar with this topic, namely whether it is worth taking a massage course just for extra income. Besides the fact that I want to help myself financially, I am attracted to this craft. My question is whether there is a lot of competition and whether I will be able to develop in this profession in Plovdiv. Is it possible that it is difficult to open a personal salon and whether people would go to a masseur who does not have an established name. Thanks a lot to the people who responded.

In order for people to find you, you need to maintain a Facebook page and possibly a site, even simpler. Offer good prices and sometimes make promotions - for a first visit, for an acquaintance, free massage after 10 times, 4 vouchers for the price of 3 for holidays, etc. Do not rely only on casual passers-by. You need to become recognizable on the internet. Post ads on collective shopping sites, so far I have only bought massage vouchers from them. If you work with a colleague, you can offer a massage for couples - many people take advantage of such offers. Come up with an easy to remember, but original name - best in English to attract foreigners. Be hospitable - offer tea to your customers, maybe a small gift. You have to stand out from the competition, that's the only way to make a name for yourself.
