I Need Advice On Developing My Own Business

By SweetPianista November 11, 2020 7 answers Last updated November 11, 2020

Hello! I am a 24 year old girl. I have completed massage and rehabilitation. I wanted to work for myself, I made a company, I rented a small room and it is going relatively well ... But I want more development. I have a few ideas that I think are good, but I'm a little insecure. My idea is to find a slightly larger room where, in addition to massages, I can organize groups of 5-10 people for rehabilitation exercises. In addition to additional finances, I want to help people - those with spinal deformities and obese (There are many in my family and I know how bad it affects health. There are overweight people who want a change, but are ashamed to go to ordinary fitness.) Please give me as much advice as possible. Thanks!

Try to offer services to children with disabilities - cerebral palsy and others. There is a great demand, you can also check if there are no European programs for funding exactly this type of activity. Advertise in kindergartens and GPs. Also elderly people who have had a stroke with partial paralysis. For them, you can go to the GPs again, as well as visit hospices, advertising in the municipality (because of the personal assistants, who are usually their relatives). Also groups for children with spinal deformities, massages in the offices (for people who are on the computer all day). Combine with other colleagues for a beauty studio e.g.

Personnel Facebook - a page with useful posts and little advertising, no kittens and cafes. Advertising on Facebook, tagging the place in Google, it is not bad to brand the place itself. You can join groups like the Mothers / Moms of ... And there you can write what you offer. After the schedule of classes, classes. Abe generally create content. It's not bad to think about a site - a simple TV plate, better minimalist than kitsch. Much depends on which city you are in and what your competition is. Not only on the level of massages, but also on your other ideas. Be confident. Flyers are a bit outdated, but if you make them so that they don't look like discos, they may be ok. You can make separate services for different services - those for distortions to give to parents in schools. You can have youth groups, for adults. Individual. Abe, I like where you're going - I think you have a chance, as long as you don't remain unknown. Good luck

Chick, it may sound very rude, but draw your customers! It is your choice whether it will be a coffee, tea, candy.

I totally agree with number 3. This is class! But! I really hope you have studied and worked in this field to help, not for profit. Because when I read the comments, there was a lot of demand, it was profitable, I don't know what. Abe, tighten it! It's not all about money, but what you will leave behind. Because tomorrow you will be gone, your children will spend millions on you, but people will not remember you because you have not changed anyone's life for the better. Nothing personal!

From the author: I am from Sofia, but in a neighborhood where there are customers and there is not much competition. For a start, I set out to find a bigger room. I always make discounts, offer water, tea and coffee for the customers. I have also completed a course and higher for what I do and I do it with love. A big myth is climbing a lot of money. People who are in need do not have great financial opportunities, and those who have money go to hotels and spas, where you pay a lot, but there is no quality ... I have worked in many different studios and I have only opened mine for a few months. However, I have a lot of work to do. The development I am looking for is with more personnel. I want to do groups for therapeutic gymnastics, to take physiotherapy equipment and to have at least two workers, because there are many clients, but I do not have the opportunity to take all of them. And I started thinking about children. The work is hard. If I continue to do only massages and rehabilitation of patients at the moment I will have to stop working, and I can not afford it. Thanks for the advice. I will take everything into account and try to make a good work plan to get things done. I am open to more and any suggestion. What would you expect from such a salon. And last time I thought about it, but I don't want to work with hairdressers, beauticians, etc.

This site is anonymous, otherwise I would give you the coordinates of my friend who works in Sicily, at least to guide you to the things she does successfully. So, she is a psychologist and a choreographer - these are her two specialties. Her method of rehabilitation, which she combines with elements of psychotherapy, are various dance exercises. Something like gymnastics through dance. According to her, this is a new world trend and people are showing great interest because the game element is leading. She personally led twice a year to participate with her method in humanitarian missions in Africa and claimed that even the most primitive aborigines were successful in treating themselves by cultivating the movements. I'm not an expert, I can't tell you about the method in detail, but once you do that, you may be familiar. I decided to get involved in the topic,
