How To Protect Myself

Hi, perhaps many of you have encountered a similar situation, but more precisely the unstable comments from colleagues about life. In the environment where I work, I'm surrounded by negative people who just complain. This has been putting a lot of pressure on me lately, and I'm coming home exhausted, not from work, but by the dissatisfaction of my colleagues. I realize that unfortunately, most people in our country think this way and then wonder why it doesn't work for them, is how you want it to go, if everyone else is to blame, you're the helpless victim! We are at work 6 people of different ages from 23 to 45, but it seems like everyone is on the same wavelength, even the younger ones are desperate for life. I'm a positive person, not sooner, I don't see myself as a victim, and I believe there's black and white in life. I think it's our situation and it's up to us to change. I believe that through our thoughts we attract the events of our lives. What am I going to do? Maybe I'm going to change jobs, but how's it going to make a difference, the certainty of me coming across people like that is great, do I have to move all the time? Otherwise, my colleagues are very good and warm people, I'm very happy that I started working with them, but sometimes I get so hard... How do you deal with negative people in your life?

Why do you take to heart the things they say, so you're all too hard? Just don't listen to them. Being dissatisfied with their lives is their problem. Apparently, you've read self-help books, and it also says you have a choice how to look at the things that happen to you. By that logic, you chose to take on their negativity. The problem is, you're paying too much attention to them. On the other hand, it's not realistic to expect that you can only be surrounded by positive people. People have different fates, different temperaments and look at what's going on in their lives differently. You can't and don't have to be like you. Let them be victims, be it themselves, if that's how they like it. And from their point of view, you can annoy them with your positivity. I wonder... if you're just not looking for a reason to change jobs...

You can't help but be burdened when you're a positive person. I, as a positive person, listening to someone who complains, tell him the positives of the circumstances so shaped. On reflections like "This country is not going to get better," "My life will never be good" or "I never get what I want" I can discuss long or just "not hear" in case I don't want to talk. You don't have to scold them for being negative or intruding on their positives. Just show them your point of view. That's how you keep a conversation going, and in your head you don't have "he's just complaining" and you don't get the negativity in your head, but you get an idea of the other view point and reasoning. Success!

Just do your job, and if you can, don't listen to them. Let them talk, but if they get in the way - tell them directly - we're here to work, not to burden each other. Everyone has problems, but there are those who think the others are obliged to be their trash can. I had a girlfriend like that - I was afraid to call her or see her - it's always bad, something bad happens to her, she's always screwed, there's no money.... is it writes. In the end, he accused me of being inflated. I kept quiet. And I put a point.
