Hi, I am about to receive a bachelor's degree from the University of Bulgaria in a humanitarian specialty and for several months I have been thinking about applying to the Interior Ministry. I have given myself an account of all the minuses and pros, but I wonder if it is possible to do so given that I have no relatives in the Interior Ministry (I know there are vacancies, most of them nasty) and even worse I have a brother (with whom I do not contact) who is in prison for drugs. Is this accounted for in candidacy, a kind of "unreliable", a person who can't be trusted? Thanks

Hi! I don't know much, but I'il answer for a few things. First, the Interior Ministry page launches competitions for each city. You have to check, go or call for information on where they are, you have to draw up documents that are needed for the contest. Then there are tests- physical, psychotest, etc. if you drive a six-month course in Varna, I think it was. Also, not to upset you, and I don't know exactly, I may be wrong, the Interior Ministry is asking you what you are, the family. I've heard cases where if you live in a block, you ask neighbors, people from your area. In general, as long as you're not some bully who gets drunk like an animal and comes home, and everybody knows it's drunk. Success!!

The Interior Ministry will investigate you as a candidate as soon as they get to the psych test. It's almost impossible to qualify after a report that your brother is criminally proven. Check a family tree until the ninth knee.
Plus, you can't have realized the pros and cons without being in the system. Even if you're soon accepted, you'il be struggling to leave. There are a lot of people in the system, but mainly people applying for people who have been security all their lives somewhere and are looking for a step up, or unpromising boys, of whom nothing other than security happens. Why are you doing this cop? To become part of the system, you have to be simple on your ass and have an "uncle dominion" in the system.

Maybe you're going to get picked up as a cop because you're supposed to have a brother who's been dealing drugs, then as a cop you're going to hit him with one shoulder and an umbrella in that direction, and that's how the police are keeping an end to you, he's going to get to the drug bosses who bribe cops. You can, but why? First you're going to face a wall with some fucked-up administrative procedures that play you like a monkey, and you're going to have to deal with drunks, junkies, drug addicts and thieves all night, and for all that you're going to get the generous reward of 800- 900 leva.
