Zelimkhan Temirsultanov is a unique phenomenon for the Russian scene. It's no joke - a musician from conservative Chechnya who sings and plays reggae. Little is known about the singer's biography. Zelimkhan was born on New Year's Eve, December 28, 1990, in the Chechen Republic. He became interested in music by chance - he heard Bob Marley's song "Redemption song" on the radio. At that moment, the boy did not understand a word, but was struck to the point of shivers on his skin. Parents, however, reacted negatively to the son's interest and considered him pampering. Therefore, Zelimkhan got his own guitar only in 2011 - it was presented by friends. Before that, after classes, he climbed through the window into the school building to take the instrument and return it back early in the morning.

For the first time Zelimkhan entered the stage at the age of 19. Before the performance, the young man was very nervous and thought that he could not stand a minute in front of an audience. However, soon the embarrassment disappeared - the performer got used to the stage and realized that this was his vocation.

It was difficult to make a career at home - except for Zelimkhan, no one in Chechnya played reggae. In an interview, the musician admitted that in his homeland it is customary for everything to be "according to the standard", but he does not like standards. Therefore, the singer continued to do what he liked and was close, without fear of the reaction of his compatriots. And Zelimkhan's fame in Chechnya was twofold: some liked the performer's musical style, while others considered it unacceptable.

In 2015, the musician went to Moscow to conquer the Main Stage competition of the Russia-1 TV channel. The singer's unusual story, as well as his undoubted talent, did their job - at the selection stage, Zelimkhan received the approval of all 4 judges and was admitted to the project without any problems. Igor Matvienko became the musician's mentor. The singer easily reached the semifinals, having won the sympathy of the audience, but did not reach the final, despite the piercing performance of DDT's song “This is all”.

After that, the musician became popular enough to start actively giving concerts. Moreover, Zelimkhan's style was resigned even at home - he successfully performs in clubs and concert venues in Chechnya. Zelimkhan is a very private person and honestly admits that he does not like to give interviews and talk about himself, so there is practically no information about his personal life. The nickname Aramis, under which the singer appears on social networks, he did not come up with on his own - that's what his uncle called him.

From the photo on Zelimkhan's Instagram page, one can understand that he is not the only child in the family - once the performer published a frame with a little girl, explaining that this is his niece.
