Biography
Zach Braff began his career in 1993 with appearances on the small ( The Babysitters Club ) and on the big screen (Murder mysterious in Manhattan). After a parenthesis of a few years, spent on the benches of Northwestern University studying film, he returns with the bitter sweet column Getting to Know You. But it was mainly thanks to his role as intern JD in the absurd and surreal sitcom Scrubs, launched in 2001 on NBC, that his career took off.
Three years later, Zach Braff, who directed a short film a few years earlier ( Lionel on a Sunday), writes, performs and directs the dramatic and romantic comedy Garden State. First attempt and master stroke: the story of this television actor, returning to his native New Jersey for his mother's funeral, is a public and critical success. In the process, Braff lends his voice to the little chicken from Disney Chicken Little, his first experience in a Hollywood major. With Last kiss, the American adaptation of the Italian film Just a Kiss, Zach Braff changes register once again by playing a thirties that the future fatherhood plunges into an existential crisis.
