The author of three hundred wonderful songs, bard, actor, playwright and prose writer Yuri Vizbor is known to millions of people who lived in the Soviet Union. His soulful songs sounded near campfires, while relaxing in pioneer camps or in student companies, at concerts of author's songs and in many films.

The legacy of Yuri Iosifovich even today warms the souls of those whose youth and youth passed in the USSR. It is as if a warm light emanates from Vizbor's songs, they shine with kindness, smell like a fire and mountain wind.

Childhood and youth

The creator of dozens of hits, including "My dear", "You are my only" and "Serega Sanin", was born in June 1934 in Moscow. The bard and poet have Ukrainian-Lithuanian roots, but Yuriy Vizbor considered himself a Russian person.

The singer's father Józef Vizboras arrived in the capital in 1917. Here he met his future wife Maria Shevchenko, who came from Krasnodon. Father Yuri Vizbor did not have time to remember: the red commander fell into the flywheel of repression when his son was three years old. The family did not wait for the father: he was rehabilitated posthumously in 1958.

Since 1941, Yuri and his mother moved to Sretenka, where he grew up and matured. In his autobiography, Yuri Vizbor wrote that the first song to his poems was born when he was 14 years old. The teenager was inspired by his first love, which happened in a pioneer camp.

Vizbor never dreamed of becoming an artist or singer. In childhood and adolescence, Yuri was fond of football, but, having matured, he "switched" to the profession of a pilot. In high school, the guy enrolled in the flying club and mastered the Yak-18 in two years. But in 1951, after graduating from school number 659, Yuri Vizbor entered not an aviation, but a pedagogical university, which came as a surprise to him. The choice of the future artist was influenced by his best friend Vladimir Krasnovsky.

In his autobiography, Yuri Iosifovich wrote that Krasnovsky became for him a man who had a decisive influence on fate. He taught Vizbor to play the guitar, love and understand music and literature.

Yuri Vizbor also ended up at the Moscow State Pedagogical Institute because of Volodya's friend. He asked Yuri to enter a pedagogical university "for the company." Vizbor met the offer with humor, but when he saw the building of the Moscow State Pedagogical Institute on Pirogovka, he realized that he would spend his student years here.

Studying at a pedagogical university influenced the creative biography of the poet and bard. Indeed, in the mid-1950s, song traditions were strong at MGPI, student amateur performance and tourism were developed. Hiking around the picturesque corners of the Moscow region and Karelia became a "breeding ground" for writing the first compositions. Svetlana Bogdasarova, Ada Yakusheva, Yuri Ryashentsev and Yuliy Kim studied at the university together with Yuri Vizbor.

Music

In the first year, Yuri Vizbor wrote two songs that became popular in the student world: Moscow youth sang with pleasure "Madagascar" and "Guy from Kentucky", and the letter "P" in the abbreviation MGPI students deciphered as "Singing". The Pedagogical Institute became the center of the author's song emerging in the 50s. Yuri Vizbor, who wrote the first songs during his studies, was recognized as the brightest representative of the new genre.

After receiving the diploma, young teachers and friends Yuri Vizbor and Vladimir Krasnovsky were assigned to a rural school in the Arkhangelsk region. But they worked as teachers for only 2 months: Vizbor and Krasnovsky were drafted into the army in the Murmansk region.

Yuri Vizbor also wrote poems and songs in the service, publishing them in the army newspaper. The poet and bard left the army as a first-class radio operator and a mature citizen: themes of heroism and military valor sounded in the songs. Service in a harsh snow-covered land forever instilled in Vizbor a love for the North, where he repeatedly came with journalistic assignments. In Murmansk, he wrote the first composition to which he composed music: "Blue Mountains".

After the service, Yuri Vizbor wrote a story, which was positively reviewed by Konstantin Simonov. But in 1963 the editor of the magazine "Youth" did not dare to publish the essay. The story "Does not affect the service life" was published after the death of the prose writer, entering into a two-volume edition of his works.

In the fall of 1957, after being retired, Yuri Vizbor got a job as a freelance journalist at a Moscow radio studio. Accidental earnings and domestic disorder did not prevent the author from writing songs that have become popular hits: "Blue Crossroads", "Okhotny Ryad" and "Calmly, Buddy" sang thousands of fans of the author's song.

In 1960, the only song by Vizbor appeared, to which he wrote only music: the poems to the hit "If I Get Sick" belong to Yaroslav Smelyakov. A year later, the popular song was published by the magazine "Musical Life". In those years, the work of Yuri Vizbor spread among the Moscow and then the Soviet intelligentsia through tape recordings.

In 1961, Yuri Vizbor with the writer Sergei Smirnov wrote the script for the art picture "Above the Sky", for which he composed six songs. Among them is the famous "Dombai Waltz".

In the early 1960s, Yuri Iosifovich began concert activity and participated in the creation of the sound magazine "Krugozor" and the radio station "Yunost". The songwriter worked at Krugozor until 1970, traveled around the country and became the founder of a new genre - "song-reportage". The first composition, entitled "On the Rasvumchorr Plateau", entered the first issue of "Krugozor".

In 1966, the first collection of short stories by the prose writer "Zero Emotions" was published, and the following year Yuri Vizbor joined the ranks of the Communist Party and wrote a script for the documentary "Tuva - Crossroads of Times".

In 1971, Yuri Iosifovich gave 30 concerts in the cities of the Soviet Union, and in 1976 - 70. He wrote dozens of songs for films, the most famous - "Alexandra", written together with Sergei Nikitin for the two-part melodrama "Moscow Does Not Believe in Tears", "Seryoga Sanin" ("Tenderness to the roaring beast") and "You are the only one" (film of the same name directed by Dmitry Astrakhan).

The hit "My dear" (another name - "Forest Sun") is included in all concerts of the bard and is recognized as a folk hit.

The writer, poet and singer managed to create and go in for mountaineering. Yuri Vizbor is a member of expeditions to the Tien Shan, Pamir and the Caucasus, an instructor of alpine skiing. On business trips, he happens to be at the largest construction sites of the millennium - the Bratsk hydroelectric power station, KamAZ, the development of fields in Yakutia.

Since 1970 Vizbor has been a screenwriter of the Ekran creative association. In 1976, at the Red Cross Festival in Varna, Yuri Iosifovich received the Grand Prix for the script for the documentary "Doctor". In the same year he was admitted to the Union of Cinematographers of the USSR.

After 3 years, Yuri Vizbor was awarded the Grand Prix at the International Film Festival in Italian San Vincent.

In the 1960s and 70s, viewers met Vizbor the actor. He appeared in the films "July Rain" by Marlen Khutsiev, "Retribution" by Alexander Stolper, "The Red Tent" by Mikhail Kalatozov and "Rudolfio" by Dinara Asanova. In the film by Larisa Shepitko "You and Me" Yuri Vizbor played Sasha. But the greatest resonance was received by Tatyana Lioznova's tape "Seventeen Moments of Spring", where Vizbor was entrusted with the role of Martin Bormann.

In 1984, Yuri Vizbor presented millions of fans with the last song - "Tseyskaya", written at the ski resort "Tsey" in Ossetia.

Personal life

For the bard, love was that feeling that inspired and inspired new hits. The first wife of the songwriter is Ada Yakusheva, author and performer of bard songs, a symbol of femininity of the 1960s and 70s. In a marriage with Yakusheva, the first daughter of Vizbor was born - Tatyana, a radio journalist, who gave her father a granddaughter Varvara and a grandson Yuri. Both followed in the footsteps of their grandparents.

Varvara Vizbor is a singer and actress, graduated from the Shchukin Theater School. In the repertoire of Varvara there are songs of her grandfather, one of them is "Night Road", beloved by millions. Grandson Yuri Vizbor (Lobikov) - musician, graduated from the Moscow Art Theater School, wrote the opera "The Hunt for the Snark", which he staged at the "Gogol Center", author of dozens of soundtracks.

Love lyrics in the work of Yuri Vizbor are half of his songs. The life of a poet and a singer consists of several bright novels and dozens of songs born during periods of love. "My dear" was written for Ada's first wife, whom he called "The Forest Sun". The composition "Pass" was born when the author fell in love and turned the page of the previous novel.

The second time Yuri Vizbor married actress Evgenia Uralova, whom he met on the set of the film "July Rain". Uralova gave birth to a second daughter, Anna, to the bard. The marriage collapsed after 7 years, when Vizbor met the artist Tatyana Lavrushina. But the bard broke up with Tatyana six months later.

The singer has lived with his fourth wife, journalist Nina Tikhonova, for the last 10 years.
