Absolutely YES !!! 90% of Germans speak English. Dig through the net for job postings there and you will see for yourself. But look for ads in German, translate yourself - I'm looking for a job as ... Or enter eures. I worked 2 seasons with English, Spanish and Russian and not a word about German then. Well, now I work with German, but in a much warmer country. You will study it on the spot, but whatever they tell you here, check for yourself on the net. Success!

I work in Germany in an international company and I can tell you from my own experience how things are. We have two IT admins who speak both English and German. By the way, they are both Germans. Before that we had one who spoke English but also spoke German very well. In general, I think that as an IT administrator you have a good chance to find a job with English only, but in Germany, German is a big advantage. Start learning it, even if you don't master it perfectly, learning it will only bring you benefits. For example, if they hire you, they will introduce you as "Mr. and Mrs. who speaks English, Bulgarian and Russian and is currently learning German." (Do you know Russian at school level you can say it). It's different. Not to present you almost as "One of the Bulgarians who only knows English." Sounds nasty, like "Abe, a student from Bulgaria who knows English and she came here to take our good jobs." In my opinion, in order to have a new car and a nice apartment, you may not learn German - as long as you find a normally paid job in the specialty. But if you want to integrate and be happy in Germany, you have to learn German. Otherwise you will feel isolated and you will sit alone and misunderstood in your nicely furnished apartment. Oh one more thing: In order to be hired here, you have to be better than here. you have to learn german. Otherwise you will feel isolated and you will sit alone and misunderstood in your nicely furnished apartment. Hello. I allow myself to write in your topic, because I am indirectly connected with Germany - a job for a German company for 10 years. I speak German worse now than when I started, because I don't live in Germany and I go to the chat pat office and the company's business is international and the correspondence is mainly in English. Yes. You decided it well, but just forgot to work, save money for an apartment and a new car and return to Bulgaria. This may have happened before, but now with a salary of 2000-3000 euros depending on the region and luck, of which 40% taxes, accommodation, food, clothes ... Calculate how much you will have left to save and how many years it will take you to save for an apartment in a big city in Bulgaria. Because if you are miserable and just looking to save, it will not be very good to fit into the team. And yet the people you work with need to like you, to go out with them, to have common topics of conversation. And the prices in Bulgaria are no longer much lower than those in Germany. I'm just writing to you so that you have no illusions and go with the big basket and remain disappointed. If you want a well-paid job and a good standard of living, look at Dubai. But I tell you again - forget this guest worker scheme because the world is already a global village and in a year or two you will not return to Bulgaria at all for more than a month or two in the summer. To drive a new car and have a well-furnished home in Germany as an IT specialist? Hmm, I'm an IT specialist in Germany and I've studied here and I know German and I have a very good diploma. Except that I don't have any car and I live in the studio, for which I don't care how it is furnished, because I'm at work all the time, and I can't make constructive changes without asking the landlady. Dude, half the salary goes here for taxes and insurance, law firms lurk everywhere to demand payment from you for anything they can think of, and separately, if you need anything, everything is very expensive. Not that I don't save money, but that's because I don't spend anything but the necessities. I have saved only 10 thousand euros in one year and it seems very stupid to scatter them for a car and furniture. Think that only one kitchen furniture will cost you at least 5 vouchers, if everything is new. Not to mention the cars. You will drive the same crumb as in BG, otherwise you will spend 2-3 years just for a car. If that suits you, come. I am collecting money for a house in Bulgaria and I am thinking of coming back in a few years, because there is no way to buy a house here in 100 years.

You may succeed. Dig a little through the net and you can get useful information, but I think there should be such companies (American for example) where good English is required :). But I am more than convinced (I live in Germany) that in most German companies you will need to know German :(. Better connect via the Internet, with a company and ask them! Good luck, all the best and hopefully in a year - Two drive another new Mercedes: D

Even if you are an IT specialist, you will have to prove a level of language proficiency, most likely at least C1. And this is a high level. It will not work in Germany without knowing German. In all white countries, they speak the respective language, not the English that has prevailed in Bulgaria. No matter what field you plan to work in. I am talking about professions that require a high level of education, not others.
