The live version, which was in no way inferior to its predecessor in sales, was also widely distributed and, having hit a high place in the Billboard, won the Latin Grammy Awards.

In 2006, the cessation of talks about a successful debut forced Omar to work in the studio again and present to the public the disc "King of Kings", which broke popularity records and raised the established sales bar. Recognized as the best urban performer at the Premio Lo Nuestro awards ceremony, Omar shot a video for the song "Angelito" and, in addition to the title mentioned, received an award in the category "Latin American Video".

Thanks to the return to reggaeton music, these tracks performed well and, together with another song called "Bandoleros", sounded in the films "Fast and Furious 5" and "Fast and Furious 6".

Then, continuing the tradition of attracting colleagues to his own creativity, Don began work on the sequel to his fourth studio album and, with the support of the Dominican singer Natti Natasha and the American duo Zion Y Lennox, presented the release "MTO2 New Generation". At a press conference after the public ceremonies, Omar announced a joint tour with longtime rival Daddy Yankee, and fans interested in this musical battle immediately sold out tickets in tens of thousands at The Kingdom World Tour.

At one of the concerts at the main indoor stadium of the Puerto Rican capital, Don presented the promotional song "Yo Soy De Aquí", later included in the fifth studio album "The Last Don II", and then released the remaining 11 tracks within 2 years. On the day of the presentation, Omar made a surprise announcement, informing fans that he was ending his solo career and created the last original album.
