Why Is That?

The Story

I'm a 19-year-old boy, I have a girlfriend of 17. One thing irritates me, I don't understand it exactly. He always wants to be the center of attention and when that doesn't happen he is offended. For example, I go out with her and my friends and I pay more attention to them than to her and she doesn't say anything, but I feel annoyed when we don't talk to her so much. She gets angry when someone ignores her or she says something and they don't pay attention to her. Or another example - by not complimenting her much, but I usually talk to her and she feels less liked. And if she doesn't feel wanted by me, you know she'll dump me and never give me a second chance, no matter how much she loves me. Otherwise, she doesn't compliment me either, so she doesn't accidentally give up her dignity ... She insists on her independence and expects other people to be addicted. Otherwise she is very beautiful, people almost always pay attention to her, but when this is not the case and for example someone ignores her, then she is very annoyed. Otherwise, she is not interested in the opinion of absolutely anyone, only hers is important to her. What's wrong with her? How should I behave so as not to feel neglected?
