With a degree in communications from UCLA and a master's degree in cinema and television from USC, Walt Becker first turned to writing. He wrote two best-selling books: Misconception , co-authored with lawyer Robert Shapiro, and Link , which was on the Los Angeles Times bestseller list for four weeks .
Also providing the executive production of a children's program entitled Hugo's hideaway , Walt Becker directed his first feature in 2002, American party - Van Wilder public relations, a comedy in which a young man (Ryan Reynolds) spends most of his time. his time to party at the expense of his studies.
