Turkish actress Vahide Gerdyum is known to Russian viewers for her role as Alexandra Anastasia Lisowska, the Sultan's wife in the TV series "The Magnificent Century". Even during the most difficult period of the struggle, when Vahide Gerdyum lost her hair, eyebrows and eyelashes, she did not try to hide her changed appearance under a wig or headdress. Colleagues made fun of her appearance, calling her an alien from a distant galaxy, but after recovering, she quickly returned to working form. Even the extra pounds gained during the illness were gone thanks to intense training.
