Vyacheslav Viktorovich Volodin is a significant figure in the modern Russian political world. A number of media outlets, including the famous Forbes magazine, the BBC Russian Service and Alexei Navalny's blog, disseminated information that the politician owns an undeclared plot in the Sosny dacha cooperative. Moreover, the "site" meant a rather impressive territory - with a pond, a garden landscape, a helipad.

The Anti-Corruption Department did not reveal any violations on the part of the official, but claims were found against Vyacheslav Viktorovich Volodin as a co-founder of the dacha cooperative "Sosny" from the Russian environmental supervision. The cooperative was fined for building an illegal fence near the Istra River, which blocked the access of ordinary citizens to resting places near the river.

Vyacheslav Volodin's wife met on his way when he was still living in Saratov. Her name is Victoria Dmitrieva, and she is the daughter of the former first secretary of the Ershovsky district committee of the CPSU.
