Vladimir Asmolov is a singer-songwriter, a native of Ukraine. Vladimir was born on November 15, 1946 in the Ukrainian city of Stalino (Donetsk) in the family of Pavel Trofimovich Saveliev and Alexandra Ilinichna Asmolova. His father, an actor by training, ran the local Palace of Culture, and his mother worked in the Drama Theater and taught acting in a theater studio for children. Having plunged into the world of theater since childhood, Vladimir begins his artistic career at the age of 8, making his debut in the play "The Snow Queen".

Then Vladimir takes his mother's maiden name as a pseudonym on the advice of the artist Alla Ioshpe, with whom he worked in those years. Vladimir begins to tour the country with the already existing songs. First, the musician makes a joint tour with the Laskoviy May group and singer Philip Kirkorov. In 1989, the artist gives concerts every day at the Moscow Variety Theater for a week, each time collecting a full house.

In the early 2000s, the artist began a relationship with a girl 30 years younger than him. Irina lived in Germany and was carried away by the work of her compatriot.

The girl sent a letter to the idol, and unexpectedly for her, Vladimir answered. The novel began in letters, which lasted a year, after which Irina came to visit the musician.
