Biography
Vladimir Bystrov is a graduate of the St. Petersburg football school, a former player of the best football teams in the country - "Spartak" and "Zenith". In addition, the footballer is remembered for the most unexpected and scandalous transfers in the history of the Russian Premier League.
fact
Childhood and youth
Vladimir Sergeevich Bystrov was born on the last day of January 1984 in the city of Luga, in the Leningrad Region. Like all boys, he was interested in many things in childhood - basketball, tennis, football. Vladimir's father played in a local club, and he brought his teenage son to the Smena children's and youth sports school. By the way, since 2009 the school has been a part of the Zenit Club Football Academy, among its graduates are Vladislav Radimov, Vyacheslav Malafeev, Andrey Arshavin.
In order not to waste time on the road, my father rented an apartment in St. Petersburg, where Vladimir lived under the supervision of his grandmother. Training three times a week under the supervision of professional coaches helped Vladimir develop his skills and reach the level that allowed him to play a serious game. Bystrov was named a flank midfielder for his speed. In 1999, as part of the Smena club, Vladimir won the youth championship of Russia. Since 2001, after leaving school, Bystrov played in Zenit's double.
Vladimir has a younger brother, he now lives in St. Petersburg, is engaged in martial arts.

Football
The first appearance of Bystrov on the field in the main squad of Zenit was unexpected: the seventeen-year-old boy came on as a substitute in the match with Torpedo-ZIL and forced the opponent to foul.
When the Czech coach Vlastimil Petrzela took the helm of the blue and white, Vladimir began to play at the base. It should be noted that at the beginning of the 2000s, Zenit was on the verge of ruin and complete collapse. Bystrov, together with Alexander Kerzhakov and Andrei Arshavin, formed the backbone of the reviving team, which was later called the golden link.
In 2005, one of the best midfielders in the country had a conflict with the coaching staff of Petrzhela. In the summer Bystrov for 4 million euros went to the principal rival - Moscow "Spartak". The change of club by a footballer turned out to be a bolt from the blue for Zenit fans, the team's owners had to listen to a flurry of angry criticism. Added to this was the head coach's craving for the casino and the unclear situation with the transfer of Arshavin. The footballer himself explained his desire to play for Spartak by the opportunity to get into the Champions League.
Bystrov, although he came to a new place with an injury, quickly got used to it, helped Spartak take second place in the standings of the Russian championship and advance to the Champions League. The midfielder played 137 matches for Spartak.
In 2009, Vladimir Bystrov made an equally shocking comeback to Zenit St. Petersburg. In the Spartak contract, there was a clause according to which the player would be released for 15 million euros. However, according to a Zenit representative, the midfielder cost the club 9 million euros, and the player's salary of 4 million euros has not been confirmed.
The fans of both teams now did not forgive the player, they rudely insulted and hounded the player both in the arena and outside it. The club even decided to make an official appeal to the fan groups. For some time, the midfielder moved around with security, but withstood the wave of negativity.
Goalkeeper Soslan Dzhanaev, Vladimir's team-mate in Spartak, said that the red and white had sold Bystrov against his will. The fans assumed that the transition was made by a “call from above”. As part of his native club, Vladimir participated in 85 matches, won two national championships and the Russian Super Cup.
Then Gazprom became a shareholder of Zenit, the whole club policy changed, and star legionnaires appeared. Against this background, In 2014, Bystrov appeared on loan at Anji Makhachkala, which at that time was famous for the largest capital and contract amounts.
In the summer of the same year, Vladimir signed a contract with the Krasnodar club. After a three-year agreement, Bystrov moved to a young club in the Leningrad region called "Tosno".
Vladimir also played for the Russian national team, where he was invited in 2004. At the European tournament of that year, he was the youngest player in the team. In 2008 he won a bronze medal at the European Championship. In addition, he participated in the qualifying matches of the 2014 World Cup.
In a friendly match with Lithuania, he scored the thousandth goal of the national team in the entire history of Russian football. Vladimir is credited with the authorship of the term "Scandinavian referee", which sounded in a post-match interview with Bystrov, who played for the youth team of the country. Then the meeting with the Danish national team was served by the referee from Ireland, during the match he did not count several goals for the Russians.
fact
Personal life
Vladimir met Alena Astapova, a student of the Lesgaft Academy of Physical Culture and Sports in a cafe in 2003. Alena knew that Bystrov was a football player, but did not set the goal of meeting a popular person. In 2004, the couple had a daughter, Dasha, five years later, their second daughter, Vlad.
Alena dropped out of the institute, said goodbye to the dream of a tennis court, and then left with Vladimir for Moscow. The girl became a legal wife in December 2006.
Alena is ready to follow her husband everywhere, but does not interfere in football affairs. During the 2008 European Championship, she spent three days behind the wheel of a car to come to Germany and support Vladimir. But the couple has achieved a family idyll, according to rumors, with difficulty. Allegedly, at one time Alena and little Dasha lived with a friend of Maria, the ex-wife of Alexander Kerzhakov.
There is a gloomy page in the biography of Vladimir. In 2015, when the footballer was in Spain, his house in a cottage village near St. Petersburg was robbed.
The kidnappers beat the watchman, killed the dog, took away Alena's jewelry and Bystrov's awards. The case remained unsolved. Vitaly Mutko promised to restore the medals of the Russian championships and Euro-2008, but he never did anything.
Vladimir is fond of fishing, not a fan of social networks. On Instagram, Facebook, VKontakte, there are about a dozen pages with the names of Vladimir and Alena, but no verified ones, and some are completely abandoned.
