I am 18 years old, boy, 182 cm, 73 kg. I do not drink. I do not smoke. From 1-2 years when I sleep on my left side my heart starts to hurt, more precisely the left side of my heart. Anyway, from 3 weeks on my own it started rhythmically at times, especially when shivering from cold, excitement or laughter, it started to hurt gradually. I must add 2 things: - I have been suffering (periodically) from depression for 3-4 years and I have experienced a lot of stress in recent years. It is interesting that in the last 1 year I started to recover mentally. - My chest is genetically narrow (not much, but still a little narrower than the normal type) Which of the two do you think is definitely the problem? Thank you.

I'm not a doctor, so my advice is to go talk to a cardiologist, and think that the cause of the pain may not be physical, but mental. Very often when a person is upset and sad, there can be pain in the heart, which passes when you stop worrying.
