In due time, the young man, at the invitation of the dean, became a law student at University College, where he played for the Leinster youth team. At the same time, Artemyev received his famous nickname Russian Rocket, like Pavel Bure.

In 2009, when his studies at the university ended, Artemyev returned to his homeland and thought about where to continue his sports career.
