Van Halen is an American hard rock band created by Eddie and Alex Van Haleena. Critics and experts name musicians among the founders of this genre. The music of Eddie Van Halen was called virtuoso. He became famous as a guitarist due to the unsurpassed technique, which was tried to copy by fans and colleagues on the shop floor. The song "Eruption" became a hit and a hallmark of the musician. It was performed at all the band's concerts.

In 1983, the band became the headliner of a major music festival in the United States. This was followed by the release of the album "1984", in which glam metal was combined in a whimsical symbiosis with hard rock. The hit "Jump" was on this disc. The single and the music video were out of competition in the charts. The commercial success of the album was obvious.

Meanwhile, everything inside the team was not so smooth. The Van Halen brothers had a fight, and David left the group. He was followed by Lee Roth in 1985. At first, session artists were invited to the vocalist's place in search of the most suitable candidate for constant cooperation. A chance acquaintance with Sammy Hagar did the trick. The former Montrose member accepted the offer of cooperation and in 1986, together with the team, released the album "5150". Hagar brought a new breath to the team, and Van Halen again found themselves on top.

Sammy's vocals were close to pop sounding, which was a novelty for the team. The albums "OU812" and "For Unlawful Carnal Knowledge" were different from the previous ones. F.U.C.K won a Grammy in 1991. The band became a frequent guest of MTV events, and the song "Right Now" was chosen as the soundtrack to the Coca-Cola commercial.

In 1995, the album "Balance" was added to the album." It was significant for the group. Like previous albums, the disc was recorded on the Warner Bros. label and flew off the shelves in a matter of hours. The sound of Eddie's guitar changed as he used a self-designed new instrument. His first album was Van Halen III, released in 1998. After several performances, Gary left the band. In Van Halen's creative biography came a period of calm.

Information about the new concert tour appeared only in 2003. Relations in the team were strained, as some participants managed to realize as entrepreneurs in other spheres. In 2006, Edward's son, bassist Wolfgang Van Halen, joined the band. In 2009, the team toured the United States. Tickets sold perfectly, and even had to organize additional concerts. In 2012, the album "A Different Kind of Truth" was released.

For the summer of 2019, the band planned a concert tour, for which they were going to reunite. But the information has not been confirmed. Former guitarist Michael Anthony said in an interview that he had not been contacted on the issue of cooperation.
