Valery Bragin was unable to reach heights playing hockey. But he became famous as a talented coach, confidently leading his players to the fight in the final.

Valery Nikolaevich Bragin was born on May 31, 1956 in Lesnoye (Sverdlovsk-45), he is Russian by nationality. Little is known about his early life and family.

His path to glory was thorny, because he had to play on a par with Viktor Shalimov, Alexander Yakushev and Arkady Rudakov, but Valery was able to show himself and be remembered by the fans as a confident and strong striker. In his youth, he could boast of an athletic form and with a height of 178 cm weighed about 80 kg.
