Valentina Anatolyevna Shevchenko was born in the capital of Kyrgyzstan on March 7, 1988. She is Russian by nationality, although she has not lived much in Russia. She herself says that she was born in the USSR and considers herself a Soviet person. Already at the age of 5, the girl began to go to the taekwondo section, training under the guidance of Pavel Fedotov, whom she later often thanked in an interview for his wise leadership. Prior to her UFC debut, Shevchenko trained in kickboxing and Muay Thai and has won 16 world championship awards. In her youth, she moved to Russia and trained in Moscow for several years, but later received an invitation to move to Peru and agreed without hesitation.
