The "Detective Police Agent" series included five novels: "Talisman of the White She-Wolf", "Demons of the Black Settlement", "Siberian Amazon", "Detective Police Agent", "Finita la Comedy".

All works are united by the place where the crimes were committed - the fictional Siberian town of Severoelansky. The investigations are conducted by an experienced detective Fyodor Tartischev and a young detective Alexei Polyakov. For this work, the writer became a laureate of the literary prize of the Siberian Federal District, and also received diplomas from the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia.

From 2011 to 2014, Melnikova has been working on another popular series, The Family Amulet. It includes 3 love-history novels - "Sunset in Flamingo Color", "Reflection of a Star", "Stone of Love".
