The first "Star Factory" appeared on domestic screens in 2002 and was an adaptation of the Dutch "Academy of Stars", which came out a year earlier. The first release of the Ukrainian "Star Factory" took place in autumn 2007. In 2012, a special project appeared on TV, in which the winners of all seasons of the Russian and Ukrainian factories confronted each other for the title of the best. Among the speakers was Vadim Oleinik.

Vadim does not like to talk about his early years. It is known that a boy was born in the Ukrainian village of Nelipovtsy, located in the south-west of the country. This event happened on March 19, 1988. There is also little information about Oleinik's family: his father's name is Anatoly, his sister is Tanya. The mother's name did not appear anywhere, although she is periodically mentioned by Vadim himself. Judging by the fact that in 2012 Oleinik was visiting his mother in Italy, his family is far from poor.

As a child, Vadim loved to play football and even thought about becoming a professional football player. However, he later abandoned this venture, leaving football as a hobby. After school, the guy entered the Kiev National University of Culture and Arts at the Faculty of Musical Art (department of pop singing).

Then he made his first attempts to earn money on his own - he worked as a promoter and seller in a store. The turning point in Oleinik's life was his participation in the casting of the next Ukrainian "Star Factory".

The casting was passed by Vadim without much effort. Already at the show, he met another participant - Vladimir Dantes, with whom he organized a duet. In 2008 this duet became the winner of the "Star Factory 2". At first, the guys romp around the country and neighboring countries with Natalia Mogilevskaya, the director of the concert. On numerous performances the duet "Dantes & Oleinik" performs their hits "Girl Olya", "I'm already 20" and "Ringtone".

In September 2010, the collective made a creative rebranding, changing the name (but not the repertoire) to “D.O. Movie". According to their idea, the first part of the name is a reference to their surnames, and the second symbolizes the stories about which they sing in their songs, and also play up in videos. But the renaming did not give any result, so already in 2014 the guys again performed as a duet "Dantes & Oleinik".

A year later, Vadim leaves the band to start a solo career in the Oleynik project. It cannot be said that this project was successful, but the songs "You Know", "Girl of the Year", "Sorry" and "Ignite the Young" are played on the radio, and Vadim's clips are broadcast on TV channels.

In 2016 he received a prize in the category "Breakthrough of the Year" according to the "M1 Music Awards". Oleinik does not communicate with his former partner, during a recent interview he dropped that he knew about the program of the Friday TV channel - “Food, I Love You,” in which Vladimir Dantes participates.

Oleinik and Dantes were called smoothies. Their fans numbered in the thousands, and their romances were legendary. Most often, their girls "became" project colleagues - participants in the Ukrainian "Star Factory", Argentine "Cruel Intentions", Spanish "Great Races", as well as just models who star in the guys' videos. Vadim has a different story with models, since in 2016 Oleinik himself, as a model, opened the show of the Podolyan brand at the Ukrainian Fashion Week.

This news amazed not only the subscribers, but also Vadim's sister, who took the joke seriously. Who this baby really was is unknown even today. Just a year ago, Oleinik's real girl became known to the world. She was a young Crimean native Anna Brazhenko.

In 2016, the couple decided to visit Anya's parents. At the command post "Kalanchak" Vadim and Anya came under fire, but were not injured. Oleinik is in no hurry to marry and have children and thanks his girlfriend for her understanding and support.

Passion for football has not passed - from 2010 to this day Oleinik is the right midfielder of the Maestro football club, which consists of figures from the Ukrainian pop industry. Vadim's number is 22. In 2013, Vadim went as a support group for the Ukrainian national team to the World Championship. Later he became an assistant coach of the national team.

If Vadim does not play football, then he must watch it in the company of friends, eating potatoes with mushrooms in sour cream or some meat dish. The performer's favorite team is Manchester United. In early September 2017, together with the members of the Okean Elzy group, he attended the premiere of the crime comedy Logan's Luck at the Oscar cinema in Kiev.

The singer does not forget about his physical form, periodically dropping into the gym. However, the musician failed to achieve the same results as those of his full namesake - workout worker Vadim Oleinik, nicknamed Berserk. But Vadim does not forget about work either - he shoots videos, performs with the album released in May 2017, takes part in the children's talent show "Steeper than All", which began broadcasting on the Ukrainian TV channel Inter in September.
