Continuing to collect musical material, the singer in 1999 recorded the song "Ost-West Emigrant". Work on recording the composition takes place in Lviv, at the studio of Garik Krichevsky. The composition gains popularity among the singer's acquaintances and convinces the man of the need to write and release an entire album. In 2000, the artist's debut album "Charter to Hanover" was released.

Vadim's album includes 11 original compositions, each of which presents a short story about the life of the Russian emigration abroad. The songs have subtle lyrics and light irony. The attractiveness of these works for the public was expressed in the fact that the texts were written by a person who knows the peculiarities of life far from his homeland, who lives the everyday life of an emigrant.

The disc received a lot of positive feedback from the audience, the songs began to gradually "go to the people." Then Kuzema thought about releasing the next album. In 2001, two Vadim's discs were released at once - "Berlin Slavians" and "Flower Girl". At the same time, the author began to collaborate with an old friend, a talented musician Vitaly Perepelitsa.

The result of the creative tandem is the new albums "Migrants", "Restaurant Musician" and others. The compositions from the records are gaining popularity in Russia as well. The songs are included in the rotation of radio "Chanson". Already in 2006, the singer, at the invitation of this radio, came to Moscow for a ceremony and became a laureate of the Chanson of the Year 2006 award.

The singer got married for the first time in 1989, but the marriage was short-lived. In the late 90s, the performer found family happiness for the second time, but the union was short-lived again.

In each of the marriages, Kuzema had a son and a daughter. Whether the heart of a celebrity is free today is unknown. After the second divorce, the singer, together with his ex-wife, wrote two books - "The War of Nerves" and "The Price of Curiosity".
