Biography
Daughter of Donald P. Bellissario, Troian took her screen debut in one of her father's achievements, Blood Crimes, when she was only 3 years old. Since then, she takes pleasure in appearing in various family productions, notably in JAG or NCIS, where the young girl plays the sister of McGee, played by Sean Murray, who is actually her stepbrother by marriage. In 1998, she joined sisters Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen in the family comedy Looking For Mum Desperately, an experience that prompted her to stand on her own feet in the cinematic world.
In 2012, Troian Bellissario landed one of the main roles in the Pretty Little Liars series: that of Spencer Hasting, a teenage girl from a wealthy family who hides dark secrets. She appears at the same time in the comedies Peep World and COG, before becoming the heroine of the web series Lauren, female soldiers victims of sexual assault. The young woman even plans to follow in her father's footsteps, writing and directing her own films.
