Child fascinated by the world of entertainment, Charles Albert Browning puts on shows mixing song and magic tricks. From the teenage years, he exercises his various talents within itinerant circus troupes. Left to retire to Malibu with his third companion Alice, who died in 1944, in 1948 he received an honorary Oscar for his entire career.
