I recently received an offer, but with the wedding we do not think to hurry. However, quite often I respect myself on such forums in order to gather experience of one kind, and to be more and more prepared for exactly what I want for my own wedding. It is not bad to exchange information with future brides. And if you are from a city, even better, because you will be able to consult about places, prices, etc. If you have someone to help you with all the preparation, you can easily go without such a forum, and no one has said that it is mandatory. However, if you don't like it, no one will force you. But if you want to get more idea and information about things, you can do it this way, consulting with other future brides or past already on this path. I wish you success!
Hi, I got married a year ago and organized everything myself. I had great observations - I worked for 3 years in a restaurant, I served hundreds of weddings and that was my "preparation". I had the opportunity to see "behind the scenes" things, if I may say so, and it helped me a lot. I haven't written to anyone on sites, I haven't dug anywhere. We did the medical, where my personal doctor said. I bought a dress, a basket, boutonnieres, etc. from a bridal shop. I do not deny the usefulness of the forums, but there are people who live a lot in their wedding day, and I deliberately avoided this obsession - I did everything myself, we organized the restaurant and accommodation of guests (I come from another city) with my husband, even invitations we did it ourselves - both of us. I uploaded photos from the day on Facebook.
