Timofey Zaitsev was born in Orenburg on June 18, 1984. The father left the family when the boy was not even a year old, and the mother raised Timofey alone. It worked as a sound engineer Alexander Nezlobin, who later invited Timofey to his TV series "HELL". The role of Red, a friend of the protagonist, became Zaitsev's debut in the cinema.

After that, the aspiring actor took part in the film "Graduation" - Nezlobin's next project. He was attracted at the stage of preparing the script, so Timofey invented his character Korchagin on his own.
