This happened every time until Lapshin met the love of life Olga Abramova. The young woman understood Timofey like no one, since she herself played for the Ukrainian national biathlon team. In 2016, on Valentine's Day, Olga received a diamond ring from Lapshin, and with it a proposal of a heart and a hand. In response, the biathlete heard the cherished "yes". She was able to become Abramova's wife only after the end of the biathlon season.
