The N'evergreen project was originally conceived as a duet of two guys from Denmark - Jacob Johansen and Thomas Christiansen. The Mega label, which took over the production of the band, was sold to the German company Edel, whose plans did not include the promotion of an unknown Scandinavian band. After the first failure, Johansen refused to continue the project, and Thomas was joined by another partner - Peter Steingard, but this creative union did not last long.

Thomas decided to start a solo career, and the first single came out under the pseudonym Tomas Tomaz, but soon the young man remembered the sonorous name of his first project and borrowed it as a stage name. From now on he's Thomas N'Evergreen.

The success came with the release of the song "Since You've Been Gone", which hit the European charts, and in Russia and CIS countries and did become a hit. For the singer were a complete surprise calls from Moscow and St. Petersburg with invitations to perform at concerts.

The popular single formed the basis of the self-titled album, released in 2003. The debutant came to work on the album seriously, in the recording he was assisted by the Budapest Symphony Orchestra, American sound producer John Von Nest and backing vocalist Stevie Wonder.

The disc sold well in Eastern Europe and especially in the post-Soviet space, N'Evergreen was gladly greeted by fans in Kiev, Almaty and in the Russian capitals. After that, the man decides to move to Russia and build a career here.

A successful attempt is an alliance with the Danish singer Kristina Shani, with whom Thomas performed in 2010 at the Eurovision Song Contest. The pair introduced the song "In a Moment like this" and finished 4th. The musicians went on a tour of Europe and released the eponymous album, which became the second in the discography of the singer.

At the same time, N'Evergreen organically joined the Russian show business, starting to record duets with famous performers. On his account the songs "Ai-ay-ay" with Leonid Agutin, "Mystery without secrets" with Christina Orbakaite, "Falling for you" with "A-Studio" and other hits. Thomas in Russia tries himself as a composer. His music can be heard in the films "Love Carrot 2," "All Inclusive, or All Inclusive!" and "All Inclusive - 2."

Attractive man has never had problems in his personal life. He repeatedly broke girl's hearts and in one interview even asked all his ex-girlfriends forgiveness. From a previous relationship, Thomas has an adult daughter Alia (2000), who lives in Europe, is engaged in theater and writes songs. The audience saw the girl and her father in July 2016 on the carpet of the music festival "Heat" in Baku.

The musician met his future wife Polina Griffis in 2002, when he came to perform in Russia. However, the girl's work and her vocals conquered him in absentia, so at the meeting he invited the lead singer of the group "A-Studio" to release a joint track and shot his beloved in the music video for the hit "Since You've Been Gone".

This creative union immediately became something more. The couple recorded the song "Just Another Love Song" and a music video for it, and the relationship began to develop rapidly, which led to the wedding. The woman even left the group, planning to create a duet with her husband. However, happiness did not last long, and the marriage fell apart after a couple of years.

Having divorced his first wife, Thomas did not leave Russia and here met his second wife - the actress of the Moon Theatre Valery Shydkova. She is 18 years younger than Thomas. Their wedding took place in September 2015 in the Soho Country Club in the presence of hundreds of guests, including many stars of Russian show business.

The singer is sure that it is Lera - his soul mate, and this relationship he has forever. The couple dreamed of having children, and the dream came true on March 30, 2016, when daughter Ivanka was born at Lapino Clinical Hospital.
