Girl, 16, I've been training kickboxing for a few months. The only thing I need is the hall. When I'm nervous, I just put everything on the sack and it passes. Boxing is a thrill to me. I knew it would hurt from the beginning, but I didn't care, I don't care now. The thing is, I came home a week ago with two bruised wrists, a blue ankle and broken elbows. There are bruises, but only I know about them. I've been wearing bandages and painkillers for a week now, because the pain is huge, my hands are blue and swollen, and I don't want our people to understand. Well, they understood and want me to go for a photo! Of course, this is not a problem, but they want to stop my training so that I can stop coming home 'broken'. How can I convince them that this is not a math lesson, that I should come home alive and well? I need that, I argue with them, but they don't support me. I will not stop training,

What makes you so nervous that you get bruised !? They are your parents - it is normal for them to worry about you. I understand that you like to train and honestly it's commendable (at least you're not like 90% of your peers who just sit at the computer). But really think about the problem. These are injuries that will probably stay with you for a lifetime. You can't go home blue and "worn out" every day (or twice a week) and expect the developing bones and muscles not to "give up". Then you will have problems - your joints, muscles, bones will hurt. I'm not saying stop training. Just give it a little more gentle.
