The Obstacle Distance?

Hello, My story is quite cliché, but I just felt the need to share it with someone and just look to get adequate advice ... We study for doctors, in different cities, but despite the whole drama in the universities there was a pretty good tandem between us and in consequence of a relationship that has lasted for about 2 years :) The hard and unpleasant thing in this case is that there is not so much time to see each other, let alone for sex, especially since we are last year and we are chasing state exams, etc., but as it is said that there is no exact time for these things and in the end things happen in spite of everything (so far). Many people are skeptical about the long-distance relationship, which is temporary, by the way, because we are thinking about specialization in another country (if everything goes according to plan, then we will return here). I'm just a little paranoid on the one hand, because everyone around me is very much against continuing, although there are no other problems - we trust each other, I know what she does at any moment, as she knows about me, we helped each other as much as we can and see you at the first opportunity, but it's just that everyone is telling me that it didn't make sense that everything would end at some point, just because you're not next to each other, not because you're not for each other ...

What do you think you would do? Would you sacrifice a person who is your friend in the first place, you help and support each other, share common interests and there is no other obstacle than distance, because of prejudices that to some extent take over your mind and make you think nonsense?
