Hello friends, please help with tips! The hunting session is over and old or "non-working" purebred dogs (beagle, barracks) have been thrown away in the village again. We picked up a female beagle, found the owner, who said she was "difficult" and didn't want her. She told us her name, how old she was, when the vaccines were last given, and when she gave birth, etc. The dog has been with us for 14 days. We walk it in the morning and in the evening. He has a house, food and water. He got used to us and turned his tail when he saw us ... Here's the problem! It doesn't stop howling. As I walk away from the house, I hear her across two streets. Neighbors are already making remarks to us. He barks at their dogs, doesn't let us sleep. Whether she is inside the house or in the yard, the moment there is no one next to her she starts howling like a baby crying ... What can we do, to make her stop yelling We can't stand next to her every minute!
We gave the dog to a capable owner who has several hunting dogs and the exact conditions for it. Now all the dogs howl together and so there will definitely be contact with their peers.

The dog is looking for attention. They are social animals and want constant contact. As far as I understand, you live in a house. If it is chained, let it go around your yard, if the situation is not right, put it inside the house with permanent access to the yard. Visit a veterinarian, there may be problems with pregnancy. Changing owner is a big problem and stress for the dog.
