Microbes on your body and on the surrounding world
There are more microbes on your body than is the entire population of the United States.
Thousands of bacteria live on your navel.
One study found Japanese soil in the navel of a man who had never visited Japan. It's just soap. The US Food and Drug Administration states that antibacterial soap is not more effective than ordinary.
You've lied. The five-second rule does not exist. 99% of the bacteria are transferred to the food the second they touch the ground.
Your toilet is a fountain from L * *. The open-lid toilets disperse particles two meters away. If your toothbrush is located nearby, guess what's on it. Close the lid. And hide that brush somewhere.
But... Everywhere else there are more germs than your toilet.
-
The cutting board-twice as much.
-
The computer keyboard – 5 times.
-
The walls around the toilet – 7 times.
-
Your mobile phone – 500 times.
-
Carpet – 4000 times.
-
The sponge in the kitchen-200 000 times!
-
Your contact lenses are covered with a layer of sticky mucus. Which comes mostly from dirty cans. Change them.
-
Have you been able to detach yourself?
-
Don't overdo it. Excessive hygienic environment increases the risk of eczema and asthma.
-
So, not all microbes are bad.
-
Some are just filthy.
