Polina Dashkova is a Russian writer, author of the novels "Blood of the Unborn", "Point of No Return", "Pact", "Correlation of Forces". Anastasia Volochkova, Sergey Gorobchenko, Oksana Stashenko and Maxim Averin played the main characters of the eight-part film. Despite the stellar cast of the series, reviews from critics and the writer herself were negative.

In 2005, the second of two films based on Dashkova's books appeared - the detective "Cherub" directed by Nikolai Geiko, in which the main roles were played by Irina Kupchenko, Alexander Efimov and Maria Poroshina. In 2004, Tatiana wrote the thriller Prize, which told about the dark past of a successful entrepreneur and about a girl who knows a secret. Two years later, the author released another collection of action-packed stories "The Opinion Game" and the detective novel "Eternal Night" about the crimes of a maniac philosopher.

In 2007-2009, Polina Dashkova created another masterpiece - the three-volume "Source of Happiness", the plot of which transports readers to the era of the early 20th century. Mysterious events, medical discoveries, family secrets - all the components are skillfully intertwined in a detective novel written in an easy, accessible language. The search for the disappeared professor Sveshnikov, or rather his medicine, which gives eternal youth, makes the billionaire Peter Colt begin to study the biography of the physician and his archives. The book is not devoid of accuracy in describing historical facts with a fair amount of liberty in the interpretation of past events.

In 2010, the collection Point of No Return was published, which included the stories Leshenka, Her Majesty Cork, Ballet, How I Started in Cinema, Pants of Maidens and the documentary adventure story Point of No Return. The last work of the collection contains the main character from the previous novel - Dr. Agapkin.

In 2012, Polina Dashkova wrote a novel about the pre-war time "Pact". The war machine is launched, and no one is able to stop the mechanism, but it is in human power to save at least one life. In early 2017, Polina Dashkova, along with writers and cinematographers Vladimir Vishnevsky, Dmitry Vodennikov, Igor Volgin, Boris Grachevsky, Mark Rozovsky, entered the Grand Jury of the National Literary Awards Poet of the Year and Writer of the Year. The competition was attended by writers and poets published on the portals Poems.ru and Proza.ru.

The work on the selection of the finalists of the competition lasted a year, after which the winners were determined: Alla Sharapova (poet of the year), Alexander Shimlovsky (writer of the year), Alexander Demidov (lyrics), Andrey Vasiliev (songs), Irina Raksha (memoirs), Sergey Bushov (fantasy) and Spica Rain (children's literature).
