Hello, I am 16 years old and I have had systemic lupus erythematosus since last summer. I am currently taking medrol, imuran and resoquine. Can anyone familiar with this disease make me aware of what will happen to me in the future? My cheeks are swollen, my hair is falling out, my eye pressure is high, etc. I also read that I will not be able to give birth, is that true? Will I be able to get my old face back and will my hair be fine? How long will I take these pills and is it possible to ever stop taking them?

How much medrol do you take? Do you go for check-ups? Isn't it possible to reduce your corticosteroids? Where have they been seen?
