to 2 “I personally protest against two things: 1. The high prices of the so-called green energy, which in the EU is many times lower than here. 2. Against the fact that the people are not thought of, that their word is not heard. A simple example, again tied to prices - it's time to set a threshold for the maximum price. Let's say something simple, like yellow cheese. "I'm sorry, but both of your demands are absurd and I'll tell you why 1st In Bulgaria electricity prices are 3 TIMES lower than in Germany. It is also not true that green energy has higher subsidies from there or from other EU countries. However, I agree that it is not the job of such a poor country as Bulgaria to give subsidies for green energy - the EU had to allocate money for such subsidies. However, I wonder why you did not protest during the Triple Coalition, when these contracts and decisions were signed and I wonder who has an interest in the protests today? 2nd The state can set a price cap only for monopolies such as ERPs, water supply and sewerage, etc. There are no monopolies on the food market. Bulgaria is a member of the EU, the World Trade Organization, and if we start imposing such prices, we will have to leave the above organizations and pay duties on everything we export to the world. The borders will be closed for Bulgarian citizens, and we will not be able to export our products to half the world. The WTO is not just the EU - it includes all the normal countries in the world - China, Russia, the countries of South and North America, etc. If we start doing such tricks, we are doomed to economic isolation. For example, in the city of Plovdiv alone more than 1500 people work in the cosmetics industry, and the products are exported to Russia and China one hundred percent. These people automatically lose their jobs if we leave the WTO, and in Bulgaria there is no market for so many cosmetics. That is why I do not support you - because you believe in populists, instead of speaking out against corruption in the judiciary, crime, Shuro-Badzhanism in the country. For me, there are higher interests behind the protests, and the protesting street is used and instrumentalized by people like Alexei Petrov. Not to mention that several thousand protesters are the minority in the country. There are millions of people who think differently and this will be seen in the elections. instead of speaking out against corruption in the judiciary, crime, Shuro-Badzhanism in the country. Young people are committed to politics because they will have to live in this country for the next 60 years, and they have a problem with 60-year-olds determining their future. Otherwise, I am positive about "street politics" in general. "Voice of the people - voice of God", but the point is that the current protests may even be harmful to the country. Their biggest problem is that they do not have leaders, they do not tolerate scientists and successful people among themselves and therefore they are very easy prey for populists and paid people, there is no dialogue with them and they cannot organize in an organization that outlive the protests. Time will tell. I supported the protests in 2007, but they were destroyed in their infancy because the then government was harassing the people, but I do not support the current protests. History and time will show who is right and who is wrong, the important thing is people have the opportunity for "street politics" at all. This is also part of the protests. As for the young - I do not believe that they are at the root of the protests today. They are simply tools in the hands of other people used and will be discarded after use.
