In Chisinau, the student met the handsome Gheorghe Gryu, a Moldovan by nationality, who also dreamed of entering a theater institute. Soon, the lovers got married. We went to the exams at VGIK together and entered on the first attempt: the couple liked the examiners, and the spouses were enrolled in the 2nd year workshop of Anatoly Romashin.

In 1991, Stella Ilnitskaya became a certified actress.
