The unique timbre of his voice, his masterly mastery of vocal techniques and the original manner of singing turned the Latvian Stas Shurins into a European star. Stas was born in Riga in 1990. Musical talent manifested itself in early childhood - the boy had perfect pitch and began to sing well. Parents took their 5-year-old son to a music school, and from the age of 15, the teenager additionally studied with professional musicians.

Shurins managed to make progress in high school. He graduated from an educational institution as an external student, holding a silver medal in his hands. After receiving a certificate of maturity, he joined the ranks of students at a local university.

From a young age, Stas Shurins began to participate in various music competitions. At the beginning of 2006, he won a competition under the auspices of the Fund of the composer Vladimir Khvoinitsky "Discovering talents". The first place gave the opportunity to gain experience from the famous Latvian performer Nicol, and at the same time to record songs at the ANTEX studio. Nicol and Khvoinitsky wrote several compositions for the young singer.

Then the singer was waiting for the international competition "World Stars 2006", where he again took first place. Gradually, Stas became a star in his native country. And in the year of graduation from high school, he began acquaintance with Ukraine - the group "V Label" invited the young musician to shoot a video.

Stas decided to apply for participation in the Ukrainian version of the Star Factory show and in 2009 he received the coveted ticket to the competition. Here Shurins showed abilities not only as a performer, the young man also acted as a songwriter. At the "Star Factory-3" presented to the audience two compositions of his own composition - "Do not go crazy" and "Heart", and also presented heartfelt singles to other participants of the competition.

As part of the musical competition, Shurins went on stage with Victoria Daineko, Nina Matvienko, Eva Polnaya and the Alibi group. At the final concert he sang a duet with Tina Karol. As a result, the Latvian was named the winner of the "Star Factory-3". He became the favorite of Konstantin Meladze, who produced the competition. The composer noted that Shurins writes songs with his soul and feelings, therefore his work finds an incredible response from the audience.

In early 2010, Stas went on his first tour, while still as a participant in a music show. The concerts were held in different parts of Ukraine. The creative biography was not limited to music. An excellent dancer came out of Stas. Only a year later, the discography was replenished with a second disc called "Natural Selection". A colorful video for the song from this album "I Don't Care" has been released. A little later, the composition was heard by Russian music lovers, only in Russia this single was played on the radio by Stas and Vlad Topalov.

Shurins' clients were pop stars. The Latvian composed songs for Vera Brezhneva, co-wrote the single "Take care of love", which in the future sounded in the social video of the Elena Franchuk ANTIAIDS Foundation.

Shurins applied for participation in Eurovision 2014 from Ukraine, the casting was held with the song "Why" and, according to the results of the vote, even entered the top ten. Participation in the project marked the beginning of a solo career in the European market. Shurins began to conquer Europe with the single "What It Ends". Together with a former mentor from the Voice of Germany, Samu Haber created the track How It It Ends, and also established cooperation with the world's largest label Universal Music Group.

The artist's personal life before marriage was in plain sight. Even before participating in the "Star Factory", Stas met a girl named Julia, but when he entered the competition, the couple broke up.
