   Right now, it's not worth going to Spain except on vacation. As it will be abroad, to be in a country where there is work and normal pay.

   I am very interested in the exact same question. I studied the language to some (perhaps elementary) level, but in order to learn it properly, I have to live there and study with practice. That it wasn't worth it, I prefer, if so, to see for myself. I can't be worse than here, especially in my case I'm talking. I do not have any qualification, but I have a great desire to take a course to acquire one and for further development. If anyone has answers on the topic, I will follow with interest.

   Те някои ходиха по Испания, но се върнаха. Други, махнаха се от България, с връзки там отидоха, останаха... С връзки е може би лесното. Нищо иначе не знам. Трябва не сериозно да мислиш да заминаваш там, а сериозно да знаеш какво искаш да работиш и да отидеш там с някакъв опит в тая професия.... И от баба знам, понеже в Гърция е ходила да работи, първо трябва да знаеш какво Точно ще търсиш да работиш там, след това си научаваш нужните думи и изречения които се ползват в тая професия която си избрала. Ако например искаш готвач да си - трябва да знаеш хранителни продукти, подправки, плодове и зеленчуци, видове кухненска посуда и т.н. Научаваш ги на испански тея неща, че и на английски, за да може да прехвърлят колегите ти на английски, ако запецнеш нещо и не разбереш какво ти говорят, и така, да е по-лесно, а не да вадиш речника и да четеш и т.н. Английския ти да е като втори български в е такива случаи. И това ми е съвета. Недей да ходиш там без да знаеш какво точно ще работиш. Ако си на "ТИ" със английския, разбирам да отидеш първо в Англия и после да търсиш каквато и да е работа, но това ти е нов език и все още не си много навътре с нещата. Затова, решаваш още от сега какво ще работиш и почваш да учиш тея специални думи, които се ползват и говорят в професията и тогава отиваш там. Това е съвета който мога да дам.

It is a more settled country than Bulgaria and is certainly a very nice place to live in terms of culture and way of life, but there foreigners also know Spanish perfectly, as most are from Latin America and the Caribbean. That is, countries where Spanish is official. Kind and friendly people, but they have a nationalist spirit and do not like not to be spoken and not to adapt foreigners to their culture. I had to live in Madrid for a few months with my mother, and until then I hadn't felt how much the language barrier could make you feel isolated, even in a place you liked. I had to go to institutions, to a doctor, to a bank - a pain! Also, keep in mind that in terms of work, pay and opportunities, things are not very rosy. If you're going with a ready-made job that doesn't require you to speak Spanish (or at least an idea of ​​what you want to do, as they said in a previous comment), you might be fine, even if you don't know the language at first. P.s. Everything is written for Madrid. It may be different in other cities. I also visited Barcelona and there it seemed to me to be more international and stronger in general, but as far as I know it is also more expensive and not as quiet as in Madrid.
