To further develop her vocal abilities, Shakhlo moved to Moscow, where she entered the Russian Institute of Theater Arts, where she began to study as a pop artist. Akhmedova got on the course to the People's Artist of the RSFSR Nadezhda Babkina. Since the singer's family remained to live in Uzbekistan, Shakhlo often had to fly home - she could not stand the long separation from her family.

In 2013, Shakhlo became a participant in the Zo'r-zo'rStar competition. Over the years that the artist performs on stage, she has recorded more than one good song. In 2015, listeners celebrated her tracks "Kerakmas" and "Yodimda Uzim", and in 2016 - "Kunglim Senda". Another 3 compositions ("Kani", "Indama" and "Summer Rains"), which deserve special attention, were presented by her in 2017 and 2018.

In the fall of 2018, a serious setback appeared in the biography of Akhmedova. After the presentation of the video for the track "Summer Rains" she was deprived of her license to engage in public music activities. The fact is that since 2017, Uzbekistan has a law prohibiting free creativity, and all songs and videos are censored by members of the Uzbek Concert Art Council.

In their opinion, the video for the track contained scenes with too explicit actions. The main roles were played by Shahlo herself and a male actor, according to the idea - her boyfriend. And although there were no obscene touches and kisses in the entire video, the aforementioned organization considered that it did not correspond to the mentality of the country.

Little is known about Shakhlo's personal life; Eastern peoples do not like to flaunt it. Therefore, on Instagram and other social networks of the singer, there are extremely modest photos in which she is depicted alone or in the company of her friends, during training in the gym or relaxing.

Although Akhmedova does not appear in public with men, in the spring of 2018, a snapshot of the singer was captured on the Internet with the Uzbek boxer Shahram Giyasov.
