After becoming a student at the technical school, the guy began performing in local rock bands, even created his own, which after the obligatory waltz played the hits of Deep Purple, Uriah Heep, Led Zeppelin. And then Vladimir Kiselev noticed him and invited the "Earthlings" to his group.

Here Sergei was assigned the role of a vocalist-keyboardist, and he coped with it flawlessly - the team began to be identified precisely with his original timbre of voice. Fateful acquaintances with composers take place, imperishable "Stuntmen", "Sorry, Earth" and, of course, "The Grass at Home" are born in collaboration with the masters.

The main emphasis in the creation of songs was placed on lyrics praising men's professions, and in music - on heavier melodies. In 1985, the composition of the group and the repertoire changed, which soon led to the first recognition and awards. After 3 years, the creator of the ensemble resigned from his post, the group again underwent many changes and ultimately disbanded in 1992. But not for long - in 1996, the new "Earthlings" appeared in the election program of Boris Yeltsin.
