Biography
Sarah Clarke discovers comedy during the year of studies which she spends in Bologna (Italy). Back in the United States, she took drama lessons when she took photos for a cultural arts center in St. Louis. She then moved to New York to study her new passion, and made her debut in 2000 in the short film Pas de deux , then in a commercial for Volkswagen. After a stint in the Sex & the City series, she joined the cast of 24 heures chrono (2001), where she played the terrorist Nina Myers. In 2005, she consulted Dr. House and obtained a recurring role in the 3rd season of Las Vegas.
On the big screen, she appears in Thirteen (2003), then alongside Lisa Kudrow in Happy Endings (2005). In 2008, the actress reunited with director Catherine Hardwicke, who had already directed her in Thirteen, to play Bella Swan's mother (Kristen Stewart) in Twilight - Chapter 1: Fascination, a role she took on again two years more late in Twilight - Chapter 3: Hesitation, the third installment of the famous vampiric saga.
