Roman Leonidovich Voloznev was born on March 9, 1997 in the Belarusian capital - Minsk. The parents were far from the music industry, but that did not stop them from recognizing their son's creative abilities. The boy's relationship at school did not go well, he had to change the educational institution 5 times. Roma's voice broke for a long time, which is why he heard ridicule from his classmates. But this did not change his faith in his abilities and desire to become a singer. In 2012 Voloznev entered the Minsk College of Arts, where he began to study pop vocal.

The stage career of the performer began at the age of 10. Voloznev took part in the selection for the Junior Eurovision Song Contest held in his native Belarus. He failed to win, but Roma made it to the top 10 and received support from the audience. This inspired him to keep singing.

The boy managed to stand out, and he was invited to play in the musical "The New Bremen Town Musicians", which was staged at the State Theater. The fans were fascinated by the artist who played the young Troubadour. Roman's next achievement was the victory at the Victoria vocal competition.

Soon the singer again decided to try his hand at the selection of Junior Eurovision, this time as part of the RoKi group. The attempt was not crowned with success, but Voloznev gained invaluable experience, which helped with participation in the children's version of the "New Wave". The achievements of the young artist were noted by the President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko, who allocated him a grant to support talented youth.

Roma continued to perform at competitions, again took part in "Children's New Wave" and "Christmas Song of the Year". The boy met such artists as Vladimir Presnyakov, Max Barskikh and Vlad Sokolovsky, with whom he continued to communicate outside the stage.

In subsequent years, Voloznev became a frequent guest on Belarusian television and radio, and the list of his achievements was regularly replenished with victories at festivals and competitions. Growing up, the young man started composing his own songs and already at the end of 2013 presented a video for the author's composition Happy New Year.

At the same time, Roman mastered playing musical instruments. At the age of 18, the guy gave a solo concert, where he performed his own tracks. For this, the artist was awarded a diploma of the Union of Composers. Shortly before that, Igor Krutoy drew attention to Voloznev, who offered to become a student at the Academy of Popular Music. In the future, the young man repeatedly spoke at events organized by the academy.

After school, Roman entered GITIS, choosing the profession of a sound engineer. Then he joined the Belarusian team “Syabry”. And then came a difficult moment in the biography of the young artist. The guy was at the station when the train crashed into the train he was on. Serious injuries were avoided, but the singer hit his head and was hospitalized.

When his condition returned to normal, Voloznev returned to the stage and began working on a solo album, which was called "Moment".
