Biography
Growing up on the sunny West Coast of the United States, Robert Earl Buckley began studying economics and graduated from the University of California. After a year in the workforce, he decided to try his luck in Hollywood and very quickly landed a leading role in the American telenovela centered on the world of haute couture, Fashion House, with Natalie Martinez and Taylor Kinney. With no success, American Heiress represents a temporary lifeline before he joins the main cast of Lipstick Jungle: Queens of Manhattan. The young man then lends his features to the attractive Kirby Atwood who will push the character of Kim Raver to adultery. At the same time, Heather Locklear succumbs to her charms in the romantic TV movie Flirt in Hawaii.
In 2009, after an express stint in the fiction Privileged, Buckley was welcomed with open arms into the great Scottish Brothers family, filling the void created by the sudden departure of Chad Michael Murray. He thus becomes Clay Evans, the sports agent of the hero played by James Lafferty. With the series coming to an end after nine seasons in 2012, Robert rebounds with the very quickly canceled 666 Park Avenue, playing with Mercedes Masohn a couple confronted with strange supernatural phenomena. Despite a short absence, the CW does not forget him and calls on him again through the comic book adaptation iZombie. He gives the reply to the New Zealand Rose McIver, of whom he plays the ex-fiancé, manager of a home for children with problems.
