Robbie Lawler is an American athlete who has made a career in mixed martial arts. The UFC welterweight champion has previously competed in numerous EliteXC, Strikeforce, PRIDE and IFL tournaments. Robert Glenn Lawler was born on March 20, 1982, in San Diego, A family with British and Filipino roots. Following her father, who served in the U.S. Marine Corps, the mother and two moved to Bettendorf, Iowa.
