Reginald Noble, better known by his stage name Redman, is an American rapper, DJ, music producer and actor. Having come to fame in the early 1990s, the performer appeared in the duo Method Man & Redman, and also released a number of solo albums on Def Jam studio and his own record label Gilla House Records.

Redman was born in New Jersey on April 17, 1970. In early childhood, he lived with his mother Darlene, and as an adult, he got involved with bad company, became addicted to drugs and broke off relations with his family.

In 1987, Reginald was expelled from college at Montclair State University, and he made a living distributing illegal substances. 2 years later, having narrowly escaped imprisonment, the young man quit a dangerous business and began to play the role of a freestyle musician in parks in New York and at parties with friends.

During the year, Redman worked at Ian London Studios, North Shore Soundworks and Power Play Studios. On September 22, 1992, the musician presented his debut disc “Whut? Thee Album ”, whose compositions were a mixture of hip-hop, reggae and funk.

In the following years, Redman returned to his solo career and released his 5th studio album called "Malpractice", and also performed the hit "Dirrty" with American singer Christina Aguilera. In addition, the musician participated in the recording of Pink's remix "Get This Party Started", and his lyrics were used in Eminem's composition "Till I Collapse".

In 2007, a duet with Snoop Dog appeared on MySpace, included in Noble's next project, Red Gone Wild.
