Hello readers! I am 16 years old and I want to share one of my problems, which is from several months or more precisely from May this year. This problem is characterized by a speech problem. Before that I did not have any defect in terms of my speech, but in the last 4 months it often happens when I speak, I hesitate, for example, which word to use or I can not find a word to express myself. Again, I didn't have this problem before. I have the feeling that I speak like a Russian who has just learned Bulgarian. In general, I often make mistakes in my speech lately, and this is starting to bother me. Most of all, I get stuck when I have to continue my speech. Or I'm wrong words that I have to pronounce without problems - for example today instead of "some" I unwittingly said "some" instead of "which" (since it is a person) I say "which". I suspect that this defect is due to the fact that in May I underwent treatment for a period of 1 week due to inflammation of the right facial nerve (or even inflamed facialis). Initially, the eyelid of one of my eyes was drooping, then there was a distortion of the mouth, and this may be the thing that bothers my speech from then until today. Naturally, everything went well, I recovered, but I felt that I was not the same when I spoke / expressed myself. subsequently there was a distortion of the mouth, and this may be what has bothered my speech from then until today. the deeper you go, the more you feel you have a problem. There is no person on earth who can speak perfectly fluently and I know this from a speech therapist with many years of experience. So whistle and live your life
Hello, I also have a similar speech problem, but it's worse, I can't say the letter p, I'm 15, so don't complain.

Read books and read them aloud whenever you can.
