Hello, a few weeks ago I received an e-mail that my relative had died and I inherited a certain amount because I was the only one left, I was asked for information about me (bank account, name, address, phone) and ID card - I said that I will not give the ID card and the person (who introduced himself as his lawyer told me no problem) to give only the rest of the information. He wants us to divide the given amount 50/50, he gave me a picture of him, his lawyer's certificate and passport, he is from Togo (wherever that is). When I gave him the information, I received an e-mail from a bank asking for information about the deceased and I wrote to the lawyer to give it. Has anyone come across this and is it some kind of new scam? Because without my personal data from the ID card there is nothing to do but still ask?

You are a complete fool! This is a known phone scam in general, always coming from Africa. Don't bother! If they have your bank account, e-mail when they crack your data and have your personal data, it is only a matter of seconds before they empty your account - advice - go to the bank tomorrow and empty the account you gave! What kind of relatives are you in Togo ???? can you have ???? TIGHTEN ME! IN THE NEXT STAGE THEY WILL START WANTING YOU AMOUNTS FOR FEES AND THE LIKE OR WANTING YOU TO PAY ANY MONEY IN ADVANCE
