Peter began to make his first attempts to become famous on the stage in his youth. He became a member of the Band conquest, which soon disbanded. This inspired Tagtgren to write music and create his own band.

After returning to Sweden, the artist began a new stage of his creative biography and became the leader of the boy band Hypocrisy. He initially performed on stage alone and even released a MINI album, Rest in Pain, and was joined by vocalist Magnus Broberg, drummer Lars Soke and guitarist Jonas Yosterberg.

The musicians signed with Nuclear Blast Records and released their debut album Penetralia, which was warmly received by metal lovers. In the years that followed, The Lineup of Hypocrisy changed several times, but Tagtgren's leadership remained undeniable. Artists regularly recorded records and gave concerts.

Soon Peter became bored within the same collective. Then he created the project Pain, in which he again acted as the lead vocalist, composer and musician. Already in 1997 the eponymous album was released, which was popular among fans of the man's work. Since the second release of Rebirth, Tagggren's songs have reached the Swedish music charts.

The performer continued to participate in two bands in parallel and develop his own recording studio Abyss Studio. He had time almost simultaneously to create new records and perform at concerts, but this Peter was not enough. He wanted to push the boundaries of creativity.

This opportunity was presented in 2015, when the duo Lindemann appeared. The musician met the lead singer of Rammstein Till Lindemann back in 2000, after a concert of the legendary band in Sweden. Artists have long wanted to create a joint project, but began work on it only in 2013, when the Team Rammstein took a break.

Soon the band members presented their debut album Skills in Pills, which took the leading place in the German music chart. The first concert of the new duo took place only 3 years later in Kiev as part of the presentation of the book of poems Messer, which Till Lindemann created in Russian language. After that, Lindemann, accompanied by invited artists, conducted a tour in Russia and Ukraine.

Peter's other projects included the band Lock Up, in which he performed as a vocalist, The Abyss, where the man was invited to play drums, and Sabaton, where the artist sang. He also accompanied Marduk and E-Type as a concert guitarist.

In November 2019, lindemann's discography was supplemented with the album F and M. Before that, the musicians presented a music video for the song Ich weiz es nicht, created using a neural network.

Now the artist continues to create. He maintains an Instagram page where he shares news and photos with fans.
