Pain In The Left Temple

Hello, I have had pain in my left temple for a long time, it doesn't hurt constantly from time to time as it hurts once and the pain can be for hours or other times in just minutes and I think it pulsates. I often wake up with a headache. I am 19 years old, I went yesterday and she just said when it hurt me to drink Paracetamol and "kicked me out". He didn't send me to a neurologist or anything.
